Yes completely agree - my other cars I have and use daily are a 1996 E38 7 series and a 2004 E65 7 series.
There is a bigger FFRR genetic resemblence to the E38 than the E65, its like home from home for me, pure seventh heaven now I have a 7 series on steroids to play with too Very Happy

Hoppy_70 not using an i-pad yet as I can't make my mind up to jump now or wait for the i-pad 2 so the double posting is just some weird mac thing , that or I'm getting Parkinson's .
But it's only a matter of time ; 1 i-mac , 1 macbook , 2 i-phones and 3 i-pods !

As for Donkey Punch is it any worse than Lemon Party or Blue Waffle ? 2008 MY Supercharged

I don't think you can class Urban Dictionary as "Official"

Last time I checked, Oxford English didn't have a listing for Donkey Punch....

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

Well, as a D3 owner (until friday when the FFRR arrives) I can honestly say that I agree with JC when he said, and I quote,
"A RRS is like having a tractor GTI. Pointless"
I looked at a lot of options including a Deafener 110. I simply have to have a LR, always have, always will.
So to replace my Petrol D3 which drinks more than George Best ever did I looked at the entire range.
D3 - too expensive for what they are now (old model)
D4 - far too expensive at 50 odd grand for the HSE. Really, at that money, what's an extra 15 grand for the Vogue?
Deafener 110. 29 grand for that?? Are you kidding?? 29 grand to destroy my eardrums.....bargain (not)
Freelander. 35 grand for the HSE. Christ on a bike, I've seen more reasonable charges from an angry Rhino.
RRS. - Well, loving the TDV8 but all that extra cash for a D3 with less room (and seats) is a real no no.
So I'm left with the FFRR. It feels special inside. Roomy, airy and like I'm being cosseted.

You know, the last car I had which made me feel THAT special was 25 odd years back when I had a Jensen Interceptor. Even the Ferrari 355 I used to have was not like the RR. Fast, exciting, good looking but at the same time, brutish and sort of lager-lout ish. Hard to explain really but the best words I can find are those when the RR was first launched back in the early 70's.

"A car for all reasons"

Yep, that'll do for me. Range Rover Sport??? Well, why have strawberries WITHOUT cream? Nah, I'll have the Full-Fat option please Sir. And if I can ever afford it, I'll have the second dollop of cream as well (Autobiography) Thumbs Up

Oh, and by the way, my Brother drives an X5 which he argues incessantly about. How it's good at everything yadda yadda. All I said was "The Range Rover is still the standard by which all others are judged."
Silence came the bold reply. Rolling with laughter

As long as you're not getting confused with a "Dirty Rodruigez" (Dirty Sanchez's First Cousin)
