Well that was stupid

Tripped and fell off the terrace. Fell some 2m+ but landed on my feet. The neighbours called an ambulance before I could get up and when the ambulance came they put me in one of those strapped in things - couldn't move.

X-rays - nothing broken. Bit my tongue, ankles are painful and I'm a little concerned about my already dodgy knee, but otherwise ok.

Stupid police asking my neighbours if it was a suicide attempt. Just what I 'kin need in a small village.

Suicide? Shocked Banging Head Shocked

The Swiss are known as a precise and methodical people. Jumping to one's death from TWO METRES!? It's almost insulting to accuse someone of that degree of incompetence!

Go luck. I hope the recovery's swift. Those skylights aren't going to clean themselves. Mr. Green

At only 2m it was more a cry for help than a suicide attempt. Laughing

My plan was to install the balustrade last, but maybe that was wrong.

Feel much better this morning.

I say you're damned lucky!

Even small trips can result in pretty serious injuries. I speak from personal experience.

Anyway, glad you're OK, but next time you want to watch naked ladies, go online rather than being a peeping tom with your nextdoor neighbour. Laughing Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I felt almost as stupid as this guy. At least he did have a parachute - even though it didn't work.

I suppose you could have just as easily landed on your head, so you have been lucky really. Previously..

I wouldn't call what he had as a parachute just a silly cape!

Still 2 metres not really prepared for is going to hurt landing sqaure on your feet without a roll oanything to help dissipate the energy Sad Hope the recovery goes well and go and stick your head in a barrel for a few minutes Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
