2010MY Functional questions

Morning All,

So, I have read the owners manual and there are things that my car doesn't seem to do, and I'm wondering why, so maybe those with the 2010 facelift and TFT dash can shed some light.

In the TFT dash menu, the first item says "Show Warnings OK". There doesn't seem to be a choice, I can't change it, is that how it's supposed to be? Is it just so you can see if there are any current warnings and then to display them?

Next, in my owners manual it shows that the centre section of the dash between the dials (which is blank during driving) will display CD/song/radio information when you change tracks etc. Mine doesn't. Again, anyone know why not?

Next, it says in the Sat Nav book that the centre section pops up turn by turn information when following a plotted route, mine doesn't. I think this may be a Model Year thing and maybe mine just missed out. Discovery 4 HSE

All normal. Middle section of the dash is basically wasted - pre-launch pictures showed track info etc. but it never happened. From memory the 2011 handbook doesn't mention the functions they should have included but didn't.

sometimes the manual might refer to something that might be region specific or has been enabled or disabled on the ccf by the dealer.. ... - .- -.

Trommel is correct, audio & Nav info was planned but never made it to the TFT screen, a real shame really as there is very little point having a TFT screen if all it displays is gauges. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

OK, so the others....

Does all the Trip/computer information now ONLY reside in the dash and not in the centre screen?

When the reverse camera comes on and you have the twin yellow lines to aid you, aren't they supposed to bend as you turn the wheel? Mine just stay straight. Discovery 4 HSE

I think it depends if you have the surround cameras or not, I have the cameras and the lines bend when you turn the wheel. 12MY Black FF VSE

Yes, you need to have dual view and the surround cameras for the bendy lines AFAIK. Don't know why - I assume it's just software as the reversing camera is no different in either system!

Interesting I have no lines at all on my reverse camera:?:
I think the 'show warnings ok' might show the error message detail if you had any open errors. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

" The FAULTMATE MSV-2 vehicle servers, that form the heart of our systems are by a very long way the most advanced we have ever created, they not only have all the functional benefits of their predecessors all rolled into one, but they are very beutifully finished and also have vastly higher processings speeds and storage capacity. They come in two versions, the very small NANO and the longer EXTREME that incorporates a built in LCD display and custom keypad that allows it to be used in stand alone mode in some situations as well as connected to a PC. Both versions have the option to include a built in Vehicle Communication Interface 1 and both are 3-in-1 license / ID hardware equipped. "
