Personally i don't think i would get them myself as i read you have to take them off if you get a puncture

somebody mentioned in a post that they have to wait for them to be deployed before they can stand on them, i can imagine that being a pain..... ... - .- -.

Just to reply to Stan and Joker:

The steps can be locked in the out position by simply pressing a switch to allow access to the jacking points and the steps do deploy pretty quickly - approx a second and a half so I've never had to wait to step on them. They are just there when you need them and out of the way when you don't. 2012 5.0L S/C

I'm getting mine fitted by Duckworths on Wednesday. Can't freaking wait. I showed my girlfriend a video of them working on YouTube and she had the audacity to ask if I really needed them?!?! I'm thinking of building in a delay to the passenger step so that she trips when exiting the vehicle...

Kits are brand new, just a promotion LR are pushing at the moment, demand used to very high for these before the launch of the L405 so i'd say they have a few excess in stock.

How long do you need the car to fit them?

Are they fused per side? (I hate side steps, the wife loves them - thinking about disabling the driver's side...)
