headlight ballast repair

i dont know if this has been covered before but on the 2002-2005 ffrr the headlight ballast can be mended so long as it isnt water damaged ,i had one go down on mine and not wanting to pay 300 pounds for a new one i took it to a friend who mended it and i have had it back on now for 9 mths and it is still fine ,so if anyone needs one mending i will gladly get it done for you at a very reasonable price.

those ballasts produce high voltages and i would be very careful having it repaired.....second hand ones appear on ebay for around £60'ish. ... - .- -.

the person repairing them works on printed circuit boards every day repairing and modding them for the industrial sector, and they cost 40 pound plus 5 pounds postage, bargain against new or second hand.
