No contest really. The L322 has so much more presence and restrained elegance.

I feel the same, maybe just a major full lifting of the L322 was enough to make it look more modern

I won't ask what a Range Rover Sport is doing in our header..........

......Oh hang on, its an L405.

Seriously though, they do look well.

Followed an L405 and the rear looks to have a much lower roofline.

Been invited to the launch of the new Sport. Now that model of Sport I do like.

New web theme looks very good.

Thumbs Up 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Agreed!

I always felt like the L322 looked quite Art Deco. Big fan!

The 405 has grown on me slightly but if the lottery came up this weekend I'd look for a late L322.

Re: L322 forever !!

Here's a debate provoking hand grenade.... Is the L322 so much better or is it that those in favour over the L405 have such a preference because the L405 is currently out of reach (all please take it in the well intended manner it is posted) Question Thumbs Up

No it's absolutely a fair point.

For me it's certainly our of reach right now. (no offence taken)

I prefer the L405 interior and undoubtedly there are decent technological advances (provided they all work -though surely then it wouldn't be a real Land Rover) but for me personally *dons flame proof suit* I think the L405 is a touch 'blingy'. Certainly seems better in some colour-ways than other.

Certainly no offence meant to those who ARE able to buy one. Thumbs Up

Dont think a 405 would fit in the drive.......even if i could afford one.

Tbh i like the idea of a new 405 but really in actuallity, and this is my opinion mind, i dont like the dash architecture that much, the boot seems quite small, the outside seems enormous close up to me. I quite like the outside, trouble is if it were a bit shorter like it needs to be it would be very much like a new sport...... Which is also nice but still cant afford one.....

Dont get me wrong if i had to spend 85k (or had 85k to spend) on a car i would probably have a late 322 and put a whole heap of left over cash towards a better car for swmbo........ Rolling with laughter

Nahhh VEGAS BABY!!!!! Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Money no object, I think I would look for an L322 4.4 TDV8 AB.
I like the strong lines, the presence of the bonnet castellations and the floating roof (in the same colour as the rest of the car) of the L322.

The L405 has soft lines, it's not growing on me at all. It looks like its been turned out of a jelly mould...
I would like to bet the overall shape doesn't last 11 years, as the out-going model did.
Had it, loved it!
