The new "take offs" from the L405 are 255/55/20 rather than 255/50/20 currently on my L322 has anyone been running these and are there any issues I need to be aware of other than the speedo being out a bit? Geoff |

There was a post about this recently I think from memory when speedo is at 70 you will be actually be doing about 72.4 mph so not too bad. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I've been running L405 255/55/20 take-offs for the last few weeks without issue. The difference calculates out to around 3.3% if I recall and only helps to bring the speedo reading a little closer to the truth. It still overstates the speed by 1 or 2 mph. Other than that no problems at all and no discernible difference in how the car accelerates or rides. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11 |

Just looking at options as its new tyre time. Checked out a local fitter and they are happy to fit and balance for £15 a corner so all options are open including web purchases. I am selling my garden feature anyway - original wheels that came with car. Geoff |
