IIDTool And Healthy TPMS System Live Values

Need a favor from somone with an IIDTool and a healthy TPMS system, after changing 3 sensors (including the spare) I'm getting the check spare message despite following the 'use spare as a road wheel' guidance.

Could you please go into 'Live Values' and check the TPMS feedback, you'll notice you will get psi readings for FR FL RR RL - do you also get a value for 'spare' as I seem to be missing this?

Thanks.

I turned off the spare in th ccf. I'll try and get values when I'm next in the car.

Was it turned off with IIDTool?

By the way my FR FL RR RL are all displaying healthy readings, I'm just missing an entry for spare - wanted to know if it shows up on anyone elses

Got a feeling that despite running the spare as a road wheel its still missing from the ID list

What option did you select in car configuration -> TPMS?

The options I had were

TPMS
TDDS
None
ERROR
Undefined.

Dont recall seeing an option to disable the spare monitoring.

I can't remember it was about a year ago. I'll try and check when I do the tpms checks for you.

I presume if you have turned off spare monitoring you'll probably be missing an entry for spare like me, I need to know from someone who has all wheels monitored if spare value is shown or not - thanks for the offer tho.

Just checked mine again and found no option in CCF editing menu to turn off spare monitoring - but I am on beta software so that may be the reason.

Think I need to put spare back on as road wheel again.

You did put the extra psi in the spare? Just a thought as I had this message until I over inflated the spare tyre.

Pretty sure it got confused registering due to changing 3 at once - all I need is just 1 person to tell me if their IIDTool shows the spares feedback in live values. TASP has kindly offered but his spare monitoring has been turned off so probably wont show anyway.

Heres hoping somebody can help me out.

Yes - saw the thread only a day or 2 ago. Sorry.

We have supplied Katash with special beta SW containing the spare in the live values. Simple reason why it wasn't there before: the spare tires in our development L322s were not monitored (for whatever reason). And in contrast to other diagnostic systems, we try very hard to make sure every function we add to our system can be used on the vehicle and is tested before we release to the public.

(wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too)

Further information regarding this issue

For some reason the ECU is reading the spare as about 15.2psi so now I understand why the warning is there, however the current spare is the original FR wheel and was confirmed by 'live values' to be reading 36psi only yesterday - I know there is not a leak so this is obviously an incorrect reading - issue was still present when the spare was exchanged with the RR @ 42psi too - so there seems to still be a conflict on the actual spare sensors 'ID'

Have completely removed spare wheel from vehicle to see if I can effectively 'null' the value then start from fresh again.

Yet again excellent customer service from GAP-Diagnostics Thumbs Up
