Hi all
Can anyone tell me if the ball bearings at the end of the removable swan neck should move inwards when you turn the release handle ? Or do they only work when under tension attached to the car.

I am about to fit a swanneck to the car but not sure if it is broken and don't want to get it stuck on the car.

They should become loose I think, but may only do that when you push down the lever on the back (to make it think its in) and turn the handle. My Previous RR's!

Problem fixed. For those who are interested when you pull out and twist the wheel you can push in the ball bearings by hand. This confirms the towbar is good. Issue for me was then resolved by greasing everything so the towbar would sit in the correct position when offered up.

It's more the 150kg of nose weight than the 1800kg
