Looking at these models at the moment, anything from the 2010 facelift onwards, I really like the thought of upgrading rather than just having the same when I change mine.

I was loaned a facelift 3.6 tdv8 autobiog, and it was bloody lovely inside.

Having had both the 4.4 TDV8 is the better engine by a considerable margin |

I have seen a few 2010/2011's that still have the 3.6 TDV8 |

I have a MY2011 Autobiography in Supercharged form. The 4.4L TDV8 was introduced for 2011 but in 2010 you still have a 3.6 TDV8 but with the facelift and electronic dash.

for the money it was a no brainier for me when comparing VSE's and Westminsters. enjoyed a vogue for 3.5years but wanted the top spec this time and I love it 3.0 VSE - 2015MY

There is something special about the Autobiog. The big plastic slab of dash in a normal Rangie is replaced with stitched leather. The plastic door cards (on which one rests ones elbow, if one is being louche) are instead lovely leather.

Adam saw a 2010 3.6 autobiography for sale in sunday times today grey with light interior 18k miles for £41 k . Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Some VSE's can be pretty well specced up Adam if you find the right one against an AB …

A full spec VSE will still be worth less than an Autobiography of mid range spec. As mentioned, the Autobiography gets as standard in addition to VSE:
