I-PHONE 5 Question

Can anyone who has an i-phone 5 on Vodafone send a picture message thru their system , i don't mean via iMessage , just through your normal plan / tariff ….. Whistle

Have been having issues with mine , my 5 was only 3/4 weeks old when i noticed this , went into P4U told them they gave me a new handset , following day same problem , went into Vodafone store they gave me a new Sim as they thought it was that …… Nope wrong

Now i have an appointment at the local Apple store as i phoned their tech squad and even they cannot understand why this is happening ….

So was wondering if any of you gents have problems on your 5's with pic msg's ….

I found the MMS settings on the Vodafone website and re-inputted them manually. After I did that, it works fine.

Actually I think I used this web page:

But it was a few weeks back and I've had a sleep since then.
Good luck

Have you tried a battery dis-connect? Laughing
Seriously though have you tried a complete power off since you put settings in?

Don't forget to turn the phone all the way to the left and all the way to the right when you switch it back on!

Have you checked that Vodafone have enabled MMS on your number? It needs to be added on the Network. Sometimes if you change Tariff MMS may not go on automatically.

I never use MMS as its chargeable, email or WhatsApp a free alternative
