Help please
The rear suspension has dropped to the bottom. There is no message on the display and the controls
Seem to be active. This happened as I was driving along luckily 1/2mile from home. Gutted need the car tomorrow.

Not much info to go on here. Lots of possible causes so you need to eliminate them one by one.

A failed compressor, a leak somewhere in the air suspension pipework, leaky airbag?

Can you get it to offroad height? 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie

Gutted piping or height sensor it would be good to read faults

Can you get it to offroad height? No it won't raise to off road I have how ever got it to normal height and level.

It takes ages now to raise and fall
Does the mean the compressor is shot?
Is it a straight forward swap old for new?

To change the compressor is a easy job it's in the boot under the spare wheel but I would get the fault codes read to see what the fault is. My compressor failed but it just locked out the suspension so it was at normal ride hight so if yours is dropping it sounds like you have an air leak or a valve not doing its job.

The info screen near the speedo does not report any faults, are the error codes only read with a reader. There is no suspension inactive message.

Start with a battery reset... If there is no fault in the computer, there is no point plugging it in...

Then if the problems persist, with the car running i would press the "off road height button" then if it wont go up? get a jack out and jack up under the towbar slowly (listening for air)

It will be a rear bag holed is my bet...

Had a good look today and can't find a thing wrong. Suspension works great at all heights with no air loss. Looks like a random error so not touching it just in case.
