New owner with the first of many questions :O)

Hello all,

I've just bought a 2002 4.4 Vogue, very pleased with it I am too.

Got a question with the the folding mirrors, seen the post below and tried the double clicking but to no avail.

Mine will fold in, hold there for a second or two and then fold out again. If repeated one then might fold and not the other at random. Sometimes nothing happens at all.

Any suggestions as to where to start?

(Will get some photo's sorted ASAP)

If I were a gambling man I would bet on the switch being faulty. Try taking it apart first and cleaning it with decent electrical spray (maplin). Theyre in a Censored position and get wet all the time when the windows open.

Thanks, good suggestion, will give that a try.

To remove the switch does the door card need to come off or can it be removed from on top?

(If the former I might well give it a good spray and work it a few time before taking the card off)
