Whistle I live 6 miles from Dundee... I am on holiday on Monday... Leuchars train station is in view from my home..

Yes, that's the one - black with red wheels (which will immediately be being painted back to silver by the way)!

Are you around at the weekend at all? Monday is the only day I'd be able to collect the car - so if there was any chance you'd have a gander at it for me before then, that would be awesome!

The seller has been amazingly accommodating and patient with me and I get the impression he's a genuine guy. However it's a long way to travel to find out I'm wrong!

If you're free for an hour or so over the weekend, then PM me and perhaps we can discuss further.

I'm almost disappointed to announce that I've only gone and BOUGHT something!!

Contraband - you're off the hook mate - but thanks again for your kind offer.

I'm now the proud owner of an Antigua Blue 2000 Jaguar XKR with Oatmeal leather. (Gary will be pleased)! Thumbs Up

It was miles over the original budget and is far more expensive to insure and run than a 944 or 968 - but I'm still well chuffed! Wink

71k on the clock with full Jag history. Wheels could do with a refurb to be perfect (won't be cheap on the 20" BBS Detroits - luckily I know a guy!) and the leather needs a little cleaning up and conditioning but mechanically it's top draw, rust free and I'll never get bored of that V8 grumble. It drives beautifully and goes like a bat out of hell. Very Happy

Have a few little tweaks planned for her over the coming months...but thanks to all of you for your thoughts, comments and guidance.

I've never been sold on the looks inside or outside, but it does look an excellent example in a nice colour. Thumbs Up

However, that engine and that noise will be constant aural pleasure and it'll shift far better than your FF.
