I've just replaced a set of tyres and there was no any uneven wear on mine.....

The garage is slipping, could have given them an excuse to replace most of your suspension components (or claim to have ) and charge you loads of £££'s to fix it .... |

both my vogur tdv8's (3.6 and 4.4) both had excessive tyre wear on l/h/front

+1 on the heavy cornering, causing the edges of the front tyres to wear, I have taken 3mm of both my front tyres in 4K miles by driving it like my lotus (Alignment is spot on)
