I need to replace the in/out screw as per meerbush, where is that on the photo? |

The in/out screw (reach motor) is not shown in my pictures but you can see if when all of the above is removed, however it is harder to get at. Discovery 4 HSE

There's no such size as a T24 [1] so assume it's a mistake. But if you have a set of Torx bits (always handy) then just find the size which fits |

Thanks Martin,have a set but they wont reach as the cowl gets in the way.Need to get some longer reach ones for the job,will report back later |

Coincidentally, I was puzzling over the T24 reference for the screw that holds the two parts of the cowl together, but I tried a T20 on a long 1/4" drive socket extension, and it was the correct size. I searched everywhere I could think of to buy a T20 screwdriver with about 6" of reach, before I gave up, and then I found all the components I needed in my Halfords Socket set |

Got the shroud off.Used 2 Teng torx screwdrivers and the sizes are T20 x 1 and T25 x 2.
