Where is the engine oil filter on a 2012 TDV8 4.4 litre and how do I get to it?

Badly replaced Oil Filter can also result in low oil pressure and catastrophic failure.... |

Thanks Vogue, I'll look out for the seal and make sure the filter is fitted upside down. Will check the old filter and replace the same way. |

Apparently it is a very regular occurrence. I would call it a design fault if even a pleb of a tech cannot complete such a simple task.

Gazellio, your post is doing wonders to my confidence, fortunately a mechanic (Not Landrover trained) will be on hand to stop any obvious mistakes. |
