United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
Unidentified switch

Have sat and read my manual from cover to cover ( I know I'm sad) but while having a hoke and poke round the car, I found a switch in the flat panel above the brake pedal next to the ODB port. It has a hollow arrow one end and filled arrow the other. Reminded me of an old electrical arial switch. It's connected to what looks like original wiring loom. Doesn't appear to do anything ignition on or off. Any clues guys? Neutral TDV8 Vogue SE 2009.

There are other threads about this switch and from what I remember it's something to do with allowing the vehicle to started prior to delivery to the dealership.
Once the vehicle has been programmed with the keys then the switch is disabled.

I think that's right and I'm sure someone will correct me if it's wrong. Wink

I believe its used pre-delivery to power up the dash or something .... gets disconnected during the pdi check (although some ppl report theirs still works.
