United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
Picked up my new facelift 4.4 V8 Vogue

Hi Guys,

Today I picked up my new (to me) Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue with the 2011 facelift and the HSX rear bumper and 22inch Overfinch alloys Smile So far I'm absolutely loving the car, today I drove rather a lot and I can't believe how smooth, relaxed and composed it remains at all times! Cool

I also managed to find some time to fit my 'Powerful UK' dash kit (as the window packs and door pull surrounds were a bit tatty). The kit looks fantastic and is a surprisingly good match for the standard walnut trim.

I already have a number of tasteful upgrades 'on order' these include:-

- The 'Powerful UK' Walnut Supercharged handbrake handle (as mines a bit worn)
- Black Range Rover steering wheel badge
- The 'Powerful UK' foundary finish cupholder to replace my ash tray
- Powerful UK colour coded Zambesi silver handle covers
- Daveo's 2012 flip key upgrade
- Range Rover tax disc holder

I also have a number of other modifications planned including:-

- Upgrade of the steering wheel to include chrome spokes
- Titanium silver Range Rover lettering

Anyway here's a few snaps Smile

How did you find the walnut cover for the driver's window switches went on?

Mine (Piano) fitted badly and needed a lot of trimming before I was remotely happy with the fit. All the others were fine, though. Si. <This is my name.

To be honest, if you're going to upgrade the steering wheel then ONLY go Genuine if you want nappa leather.

I bought a nappa leather one for my old '02 from Powerful and whilst the leather and feel of the 'wheel was lovely, the heating was very substandard indeed. I won't be buying an exchange 'wheel from Powerful ever again.

On my '07, I simply added chrome spokes and retained the original wheel. MUCH cheaper and equally easy to do and I really don't miss the nappa that much when I was getting so frustrated with the almost zero heating on cold days. The looks improve immeasurably with the chrome spokes. Si. <This is my name.

It fitted fairly well, I'm surprised actually how well it fits and matches the genuinely RR walnut for the money! Although I did have a door pull surround (which I fitted in the rear) which was a bit tight and as such if you look closely you can see a slither of grey (but hey for 95 quid I'm more than happy), sounds like you maybe got a bad one? Perhaps worth contacting Powerful? Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Thanks, the bumper is fantastic IMO! I actually prefer it to the OEM Design Pack bumper Smile

Today I returned (very excited) from work to find a few boxes from Powerful UK, in with this was my colour coded Zambesi Silver handle covers!

Please see the before and after photo's which show the poor condition of the original LR items and the transformation after the upgrade Smile

I like it. The lighter colour really sets off the black accents of the 2012 lights. Thumbs Up
