Hhmmmm, I take it nuts ARE NOT required then as bolt holes in Armature and chassis are pre-threaded? Can anyone who has installed a tow bar themselves (N Bunny?) clarify .... ??

You use the existing bolts that held the towing eye and exhaust brackets in place.

Fitting instructions can be downloaded here

Thumbs Up

Thx bunny, yes read those. Do the rearmost vertical plates that attach to the rear bumper not require an extra 4 bolts (+ nuts tho?)

What do people think of this type (fits direct onto the rear crash bumper)? It would mainly be used for towing a horse box.

You don't need any additional bolts to fit the armature, it uses existing bolts from the car.

You remove the bumper carrier brackets and the armature replaces them, using the bolts from the old brackets.

That eBay ad is a generic photo so can't tell what it is to be honest.

They often reccomend fitting new bolts though but i've reused mine to no ill affect and i've used mine to rescue vehicles and tow Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
