United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
Crossing over from the dark side possibly.

Hi fellow forumees
Been a Land Rover owner since 2002, having had a Vogue 4.4 and three Sports. The current Sport saga is well documented on the sister site but my question for those in the know is; does the Vogue have the same issues as TDV8?
My 4.4 was faultless for three years and 60000 miles, only needing a new steering wheel and routine service work. Since 2005 I have had two V6 and then a V8 diesel, all of which have had issues. The TDV8 has had turbos, an engine and still has issues so seriously thinking about a @ 2010 Vogue. Please tell me they don't have the same issues as Sports. Big Cry

No idea about diesels, as we don't get any of them here. I was talking to a senior mechanic at a social 'do' put on by the local dealer (welcome to new RR and 4wd Jags). He mentioned that the 06+ L332 did not seem to have many issues that he's seen. The LR3/LR/RRSport (oh, that's Disco3 & Disco4 for the non-Canadians) seemed to have a lot more issues. Sorry, but I'm not very technical and I can't help further.

The reason I went for an L322 recenty over the L320 was reliability and also accessibility when doing work on them. TBH the Sport is a pig to work on, just because everything is so crammed in.

I got the Vogue SE 3.6 in the facelift 10MY.

As per Gaz above, the sport seems to suffer badly with them and im starting to wonder if its due to heat build up in the engine bay... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

TBH if it were me my list would be along the lines of,

FullFatRR sticker to replace Gay Salmon one
SC Grille
Standard looking tints
Full service and flush of fluids INC Gbox, Diffs, Transfer case. Also make sure they doe the seat filters as i bet they haven't been done yet!
Decat(bash the guts out!)
Remap
Maybe some SC or other 20" wheels (over 20" and the normal rough road ride gets poo and not worth it)
Bluetooth Upgrade module to 2012 version
S5 Battery Upgrade
FBH remotes if you haven't got any
Set of rubber and carpet mats and a rubber or rigid boot load liner
set of winter wheels, probably 18" with some winter tyres when the weather gets bad so you don' have to worry about scraping them or anything in the poo weather Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.
