Since buying the TDV8 Vogue SE back in December 2009, the TPMS had not worked since the dealership put 4 new tyres on the car.
I said they must have damaged the sensors as they clearly took no care over the job and damaged all 4 alloys requiring a full refurb.
It's been in another dealer twice already for a fix, replaced TPMS modules etc, still broken.
It went in this week and just got it back. Lo and behold it is fixed (for now anyway ) It turns out that my original suspicions were correct and it was a damaged sensor on the NSR wheel, which coincidentally was the first ever error message on the dashboard before it just defaulted to the generic fault message.
Sometimes I wish the dealers would listen more, I said it was the NSR and they ignored it. 6 months later and I am proven right. Discovery 4 HSE
