They do turn off after 15 or so mins, I think there is a few options in IIDTool regarding interior light control too |

Can anyone point me to the tailgate interior light switch? I've been looking but cant find it...

The tailgate interior light swtch is an integral part of the tailgate lock motor.

i believe you can switch all the interior lights off by double pressing the switch above the rear view mirror.. ... - .- -.

David: Well I just wanted to turn it off for those occasions when you have to give it a nice cleaning or just when you are deciding where all the cargo should go - like on vacations or even when you just need a good table.

Why not just replace the tungsten bulbs in the fittings with leds, minimal current drain then.

David, I thought about that, but what about the light color temperature? Dont they give the RR a "refrigerator" look? What do you use?

If you push the lock on the upper tailgate to the locked position it should turn the tailgate lights off ( it works on mine ) then just press the boot release button to un lock before you close the boot.
