On the detachable section, can the rubber bung/grommet thingy at the top be replaced?

Not sure but i think that they wouldnt make a loaded part out of plastic. As far as i can sus it the ball bearings are what holds the bar into the reciever...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It's scrap apparently. Westfalia said they could repair it for £100 but said it wasn't worth doing |

Does it not just help with location or as a light damper? Cant see it having much affect! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Have a look on eBay for an obscure model one you can dismantle. I'm watching a couple that I can remove the lock off (mine is knackered). If I buy one and it has the spare you need you can have it. Watch this space....

if you pull and twist your knob, do your balls go in a bit and loosen? try pushing it into the hole and it should stay in. if so, its working fine....i have a bit of rubber on mine too. looking at the pic, i would lube those balls! |
