What do you really want?? You have a FFRR for luxury cruising, do you need another comfy cruiser? In my book, the jag is a GT. The 944,968 etc are a totally different beast altogether. Is it a sports car you want or a tourer.... You'll be trying TT's and 350z's next.... Previously..

Those Jags are seriously good value. The convertible especially so. Once I get some work I feel one coming on.... Graham

I don't really know EXACTLY what I want.

Actually, talk about stating the bleeding obvious - that much has become clear through the myriad of options discussed on this mammoth thread!

I do hear you Contraband - having an FFRR (especially an S/C) and another big comfy V8 may seem an odd couple - a more sporty 944 or 968 would be a better pairing for giving me a wider range of driving experiences.

I wouldn't say I'm in a buying frenzy Kurt....but a "searching for cars and not doing any work" frenzy I'll give you! Wink

I love Jaaagggs, but having seen a few XKRs in my price range I'd have 'what if?' syndrome if I bought a standard XK8, which means I'll be scraping in to a scruffy XKR unless I get extremely lucky.

I really need to drive a 944 Turbo and S2 back to back - as (again, because I've seen a few close to my budget) I think I'd always want the Turbo, but actually I could get a much nicer S2 for my money - and they're widely regarded as the best 944 to have when it comes to bang for buck and upkeep etc.

But there's something drawing me to that grey 968...head says don't buy a Tiptronic....heart says "BUY IT!"

Saw an XK this morning while I was fueling the FF. It made a nice V8 rumble that reminded you all that's good about being a bloke.
