Front wheel bearings

I replaced both front wheel bearings yesterday.
Ever since I bought my car last January it has had a vibration from front left at 100kmh. It would also cause the passenger seat to vibrate. I tried several times to get it balanced and aligned to cure this. In the last month a rumbling sound started to come from front left so I decided to order new bearings. New front struts seemed more urgent after a airbag burst so I put the bearings off for a few weeks. The new bearings arrived monday so I fitted them tuesday and wednesday morning. It was a bit of a job but all good and I thought best to replace both as the difference in shipping costs is minor between one or two bearings, circlips, nut and dust seal and while the car was on axle stands I might as well do them both.
What a difference it has made. The vibration has gone and obviously the rumble has too plus the slight tug to the left it has had. Maybe the vibration was to do with something being loose that I have tightened up when reinstating the hub but it is certainly a lot better.
