Not sure what to do?

Last year I bought a set of 5 of these 19's from Dan@Duckworths, loved them on my ffrr and planned to put them on my D3 only to find they don't fit! So, given that I want to upgrade the D3 18's to 19's I'm wondering if it is best to sell these as wheels only, or wheels and tyres. My preference would be to sell the wheels and transfer the tyres to another set of wheels but I am not sure of the value of the wheels, or with tyres? For info only they are 7-8mm tread and perfect condition inside and out apart from 2 stone chips. Not selling here btw, just trying to understand the market. Will list in 'for sales' when I have a plan.

Yes Gary, should have consulted you but realised too late. Was a gem with 50k and 1 previous owner. Hey ho!

Just curious, why don't the wheels fit your D3?
All FFRR wheels are the same fitment as a D3 and for that matter a D4.

They foul the callipers on the D3 but not the D4 - can be fixed with 3mm spacers but I'm unhappy about that as a) the nuts turn only 7 turns not 9 and b) the centre spigot is not supporting the wheels.

That's unlucky.
I wouldn't fit spacer rings either. Thumbs Up

Depends if you can afford to fund it, but I'd look for new wheels and also wheel/tyre combos - then go with whatever comes up first and sell what you have left.

May even mean buying wheels with tyres, deciding you prefer yours & swapping them over if you can do it for reasonable money - I have a local guy who will do jobs like that for cash on a Saturday morning Thumbs Up

OK - must make a decision

Is there a view on the value of:

wheels alone x5 - £300?

tyres alone x5 - £500?

wheels & tyres x5 - £750?

I can afford to buy replacements and sell later but want to make a smart decision.
