Just curious, why don't the wheels fit your D3?

They foul the callipers on the D3 but not the D4 - can be fixed with 3mm spacers but I'm unhappy about that as a) the nuts turn only 7 turns not 9 and b) the centre spigot is not supporting the wheels. |

Depends if you can afford to fund it, but I'd look for new wheels and also wheel/tyre combos - then go with whatever comes up first and sell what you have left.
