I use Scholl S17 and S40 as my medium and fine compounds respectively. Good results on a Blue FFRR. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography |

Thanks mate. I'll order some tomorrow. My FFRR is blue as well but got so many swirls on the paintwork & it'll great to polish her up. The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!

I did mine a few weeks ago and all I did was go over it with a clay bar and then used the pads dry with a dab of Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine polish.

Dry buffing saves having to clean all the splats off the glass, rubbers and black plastic parts. |

Gives the polish a longer working time as some have a tendency to dry out too quickly. Im a rotary man myself but not great with it! Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

the DA polisher is great. I got into it a while back its very easy but yime consuming. also armed myself with some 2000-3000 wet and dry which was scary the first time but so easy and amazing. watched loads of YouTube videos. Made getting the deeper scratch's out that little bit easier. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I've just spent 90 minutes trying to polish linear/ probably brush mark type scratches out of the black rear most window pillars either side of the car ... prob using the wrong stuff but used a heavy duty rotary polisher, Farecla polishing foam pad, Farecla G3, a hose to spray water over the pillars and then machine polished over it with AG SRP before finishing with a microfibre cloth..
