Iv had a quick search but cant find what I'm after, anyways i may have mentioned a couple of times that im taking a road trip to the south of france in august, trouble is i don't want to drive that far with no spare, and as i have an lpg tank there, i need to put it some where.

so that leaves me with 2 options as far as i can see.
1) on the back, find some sort of tow bar mounted swing away spare wheel carrier?? has anyone got one or seen one? or know where i could get one?

2) an expedition style roof rock, like the G4 one on a sport, ratchet strap it to the roof, then i can get some of those weather proof roof bags aswell.

Anyone got any ideas or thoughts on either???

Never seen a rear mount for a FFRR

There are G4 style racks, but not cheap.

Presumably you need all the boot space ?

Yea that's the plan, got a little sprog, so got a lot to take, travel cot pushchair etc, plus camping stuff, and enought kit for 2 weeks etc.

So thinking a rack might be easier 

For me, plan A would be a dog guard, then pile the boot to the roof.

If you need more space, it may be easier/cheaper to put the spare in the boot and get roof bars & a roof box than the full expedition rack.....

If you have a tow bar, I guess you could try to fabricate something like this -

Remove some / all the back seats if not needed?

Hmm, that's an idea I suppose, and a mate has a roof rail system and a roof box for a l322, so that would be free.

Would still be interested in a wheel carrier though.

On another note, if I can't find one
So would anyone be interested in having one if a had some fabricated?
