AT tyres what to d

I have an opportunity to purchase some cooper ltz all terrain for a very good price but and wondering if the re is any point due to never going offroad? Can anyone confirm if I should really stick to a road biased tread or will I be ok with a set of the coopers?

i have been off road [proper] twice with mine, the first time with 295/45/20 road type contis and the second time with standard nexens 255/50/20..both times i had no problem with traction except for slopes with wet grass so i would say stick to road tyres unless you get loads of snow and live out in the wilds. ... - .- -.

Thought as much, was a good deal so trying to convince myself! I might try a set of cooper zeon 4xs, 4 fitted for 488 quid sounds like a reasonable deal, anyone used them?
