Dodgy windscreen wipers

Looking for advice about my windscreen wipers. During some heavy rain the other day the wipers stopped in the parked position and haven't moved since. Bit of a hairy drive home I'll tell you!

I've searched around and although this seems to be quite common most people find that they restart after a while - mine haven't.

Done the usual fuse checking but they're fine.

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Gareth.

I've had the same problem a few times before.

This time they would not work again after being left for over a day.

Though they then started working again once it rained?

I've decided to follow this solution up and replace, just in case

So I believe Mr Tee! Unfortunately I'm now offshore and the weather is decidedly average. Everybody has been messaging me to tell me what a great day it is and how they'll be enjoying themselves at the Fish or the Fort this afternoon. Cheers for that mates!

Anyway thanks for the welcome and the advice. Sounds like a job even my missus can do. When she sobers up I'll get her out there and get the battery disconnected then report back.

Cheers Charlie - that was a good link. Some good info on there. Where is the best place for ordering these RR parts. As a Defender owner I'm used to using Craddocks or Paddocks. Are they OK for RR too or would you recommend somewhere else?

Ta for your help.

If you look at the high res images on the link you can read the fuse part number.

My local independent has ordered one in for me. May be worth a google?
