England 2016 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Aintree Green

Mine is parked in an open fronted barn and I don't have neighbours, hence no need for park heating.....and I don't play tennis! Smile Agree on the radar cruise. I find the cameras very useful, not only when towing but also when avoiding kerbing the big alloys! But you've hit the nail on the head......it's all down to needs & lifestyle that's what makes specifiying a vehicle great fun. 2016 RR SDV8 Vogue (Aintree Green)

I have the ebony ivory interior with ebony seats too - and grand black. Very happy with combo and feel it is practical and will wear well.

Lights on the vogue - I know the answer to this one. You need adaptive lights for the signature LEDs and they are not standard fit on the vogue .... However, due to shortage of the standard lights the adaptive ones have been fitted to all UK vogues to date (mine included) as a free upgrade even if not ordered. Not sure that will last forever so best be careful and check with the dealer. All of the, very few, l405s I have seen on the road have the signature lights including the vogues. Geoff

I think you will find that the 'signature' lights are the daylight running lights that are now a legal requirement in the UK, therefore you will see all L405 with them. The DRLs do not on their own signify that the vehicle has adaptive lighting. If there is a shortage of standard lights then it will be the reason they are fitting adaptive lights to UK cars even when the original spec does not call for them.

I did a trip yesterday and saw eight other L405 not counting the 30+ on transporters en route to Southampton docks. The signature lights make them easy to spot. All were black, causeway or luxor. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

I took delivery of my Vogue on Tuesday (at long last!). Delay at the factory apparently meant I only just got mine. I've been borrowing the dealers 62 plate Vogue for the last three weeks though and I only mention it as it did NOT have the signature LEDs. It just had a sort of xenon DRL bulb, rather like the new Freelanders had.

I assume this was built before they adaptive lights were fitted as standard (for the time being) due to advertising the signature lights as standard on all models. LR sent out an email some months ago informing those with Vogues on order that they'd be getting adaptive lights free as they had a shortage of headlights without signature lighting. The dealer car I borrowed must have been one of the first few built.

The ones with fewer fairy lights should command a premium.

Very true, you can make the fairy lights less prominent by driving on sidelights - which is a bit daft as the only time you would drive on sidelights would be when you should be more visible. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus

3.0 Vogue Santorini with Ivory - although I had spec'd Ebony!
Accepted the car after the dealer offered me a very favourable deal on trading it in for a new RR Sport in Sept!

Not the first wrong-spec car arriving at a dealer I've heard of. Dealer's fault or Land Rover's?

Factory apparently. I revised my spec some months ago, well within the cut-off, which was sent from dealer to factory. Factory acknowledged updated spec - and promptly ignored it!
It's actually worked out well though, albeit I've got to try to keep the Ivory leather clean until Sept!

That's the colour and the interior choices made for my order. Going for the 4.4 with 21inch wheels, next problem is it the Vogue SE or AB.
Not sure if Massage seats , 4 zone climate control, Remote Park Heat and Blind spot Monitoring are devices I would get a lot of use from.

Any comments ?

Ok I tried one out earlier in the year:
Massage seats are funny to muck about with for a while, but not effective enough to use on a daily basis IMO
Vogue SE was the model I travelled in; seemed luxurious enough but down to personal preference...
Blind spots on L405 are quite a bit bigger IMO, so you might actually be thankful for BS monitor
Remote park heat could be useful, not too sure on this one though

Bit worrying. Moral here somewhere....Even though this one was the factory fault, I'd advise checking the build spec the dealer (should) provide, at each step in detail. I handed over my chosen spec from the LR configurator to my dealer last week, and on Monday he gave me a copy of the LR build spec (which is a different layout of supposedly the same information) which was so wrong it was comical. Fortunately I spotted the mistakes (just little things like wrong paint colour, 19 inch wheels (!), etc.) before it was sent off. Am going in to the dealership tomorrow to go through the build spec line by line and sign off on it, and if I make any changes I'm going to ask for written confirmation... Norman

Agree. I saw an Autobiography last week in this Aintree Green with interior in piano black and tan. I was surprised how orange the interior looked

Could do without the rest of the chintz, but the leather in the new Holland & Holland version is a better tan:
