Anyone tell me the Key number for the cross bar (part number CAB 00040 PMA) locks and where to get them? (Dealer next to useless!)

I have the roof rail/cross bar combo but no keys so can't unlock to fit onto rails.

The barrel says LR 0001 and I have been told that Thule made them but all Thule replacement key numbers start with N! Cant order replacements apparently unless you quote key number!

Or an alternative option??? anyone replaced all locks with Thule variant? cost? degree of difficulty?

You can get keys from a supplier on eBay, but you need the lock number:

Thule lock barrels are easy to change, but you need a special key. The barrels usually have a single letter then 3 numbers and look like this -



If they are unlocked, then the special key goes in and the barrel just slides out.

I think I have a spare key somewhere - if you confirm they are Thule barrels, then I'll see if I can find it.
