Another thing to be wary of when dealing with cars with finance owing.

Find out the company and the details BEFORE hand and then visit their website to get their number. Dont rely on the seller phoning them up and handing you the phone once DPA is done as how do you know he hasn't just called a 'mate' to tell you what you want to hear? As the vendor would have acted fraudulently in getting another V5 when the logbook loan company had the original, I'd imagine that would come into play My plan was idiot-proof ...
