Thanks everyone. Re running mine into the ground, it depends what "the ground" is! It got low loded to a garage today cos the fuel pump went south, and I just feel that with the milage stuff will begin to go more and more. This will potentially turn a trickle of repair expenditure into a flood, and may strand me/ my wife more often than it does. 40k for a2010 is out of the question right now, but it sounds like apart from the outside (facelift) and a few tweaks, e supercharges is much the same across the year divide, so I might just get an earlier low milage car and facelift it.

The 2010 drives very differently and much better to the 06 to 08. The handling is much improved due to the suspension changes (I can't remember the name for it, it was adaptive dynamics or something like that). The cornering ability was much improved. The brakes are significantly better and if you are looking at petrol, the all new 5.0 supercharged was introduced which is a much more modern and more powerful engine than the old supercharged and uses a little less fuel. The interior on the supercharged for 2010 has leather absolutely everywhere (even the headlining) and as as result seems even more luxurious. Other things I can think of of note are surround cameras, adaptive cruise, proper Iphone integration to the media interface, 1000W stereo upgrade.

Ooh, sounds like it might be worth waiting then! Mine can't really devalue further, so it's just a question of sitting tight.

The 2010 facelifts are coming down (I'm sat waiting for the facelifts to drop into what I'm comfortable paying). They are now regularly advertised under £30k asking price on Autotrader. September is still my target date for the next Rangie. Hopeful of picking one up for around £28k. Seems to be taking forever to arrive. Lloyd Barnes
