New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I had my front wheel bearings done because I could here the telltale noise in the corners. Needless to say the new rear wheel bearings have been ordered and should hopefully be here soon!!!!

Lets just say, it is normal wear and tear that comes up in any car. In our FFRRs it just comes up harder and faster then "normal" cars Smile

I know, the bearings on my disco have to be replaced every 6months or so, but then again iv got 30mm spacers and 33" tyres on that, so it just eats them.

How hard are the to do on the range?

Luckily I don't have to do this myself but they need a press to get them in and out. So the whole hub comes out to get the old bearing out and new one in (on the front). Haven't looked at the back yet.

Have you tried finding out what the bearings are and then look for higher capacity bearings on the Disco ?? Sometimes you can get the same dimension bearing with much higher load ratings. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Well the wife picked the rangie up from the garage today. Apparently the wheel bearing was the worst he had seen in a very long time. Completely collapsed.

Not sure how they didn't pick it up when they did the rack, or how the garage that did the tracking didn't pick it up. Anyways its all sorted.
