So does anyone know the difference between a TGD000141 and a TGD000142 ?

Phil

(TGD000150 is the ZF 5HP24 transmission. Clearly there's no US version of the TD6 as none were sold there)

TGD000141 and a TGD000142

141 is earlier box, i would say 142 difference is that some of internal components have been upgraded etc You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

So maybe that's the reason Bearmach told magicbob that their eBay transmission wouldn't fit his vehicle? (theirs is a 141) - or maybe they just didn't fancy shipping it to Australia?

well i can see why they said it wouldn't fit as its not correct to his VIN per say

but i dont see why there would be any issues fitting it You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

Do you know when the change over was?

Maybe this explains some boxes failing if some parts are upgraded?? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Thanks for your help, fellas, and as always, Dan went out of his way to assist.I have spoken to BM, and the box is still available. Just have to research what the differences are, and see if it will fit.Even if I have to pay more, if it can be made to fit, it is still a bargain, in this neck of the woods. Although the car is old, it is in otherwise perfect condition, and is still worth $30-35000. And I love it!!
