2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Epsom Green
new td6 gearbox

Currently bidding for new td6 g/box, on the bay of fleas, from a crowd in Wales.Starting bid 1499 pommie quid.
Freight to down under is around 600 quid. Our very kind east coast dealer here in Aus, have offered me one for 12000 quid, with another 600 quid delivery. Guess I have a little room to move!!! Laughing
Bob
PS don't have (or can't find) the "quid" icon on my 'putor

£12000 GBP for gearbox Evil or Very Mad I thought Halfords were bad !! Anyways, hope your bidding goes well.

You probably have a US keyboard given the AUS $ currency?

If you need £

use the character map applet on your PC
or
on Windows: ALT (hold) + 0 1 6 3 (on numpad with numlock)
or
on Linux: CTRL+SHIFT (hold) then type u a 3
or
on Mac: Weird Option Key (hold) + 3 .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Crikey, and then people are giving Nigeria a bad rap about the price of parts here !!!!! Lucky I have air freight options at a decent cost here Smile

Hope you get sorted soon mate.

If this one doesn't work out, let me know. I have a mate in Busselton that regularly ship equipment into WA for his museum. You may be able to hitch a ride in one of his containers. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Had to withdraw my bid, since checking with the seller, first e-mail I got said it would fit my car, put in a bid, then got another e-mail to say it would not fit...... Censored ! So I'm still on the lookout for a new gearbox, if you folks know of one, please advise. Thanks
Bob

Bob - so true! I lived in Karratha for a while and the flight from Perth took 2 hours on a bad day. Add another hour to get to Broome and you're STILL in WA. Bonkers place but god I miss it!

Must get back and do more of the Kimberley and the wineries. Si. <This is my name.
