quality of different brands

i must buy a viscous fan clutch unit for the range rover. which of the under-mentioned brands will be the better one:

- hella @ 85 pounds
- britpart @ 60 pounds

or should i go for the LR one which is 271 pounds (in south africa)

Ive had no problem with the Britpart Intercooler and transferbox motor I've fitted.
They look identical to the LR ones even the same lables.

You have to be VERY picky with Britpart parts, some are absolutely fine but some are awful.

I would go with the Hella item, you're still saving a fortune over the LR price.

Ditto what Martin said. Some Britpart are OK others are dreadful. I'd also go Hella. I bought some Britpart running boards, they looked good but the rubber treads perished within 12 months!

Google Britpart Shi*part problems and draw your own conclusion ! That said a load of their stuff is oem and LR branded!
