Dent removal

I've managed to put a scratch-dent in a front door, at about the height of the front bumper Big Cry About 6inches long , and relatively shallow, maybe 1mm at the deepest point. I've tried to remove it with heating using a heat-gun , and then compressed air as on you tube. I also tried rapid cooling with a spray of icey water, after heat application, but no luck. I don't want to heat to red-hot , as I have no idea as to what is on the interior of the door skin. Do RR coat with anything which is inflammable? . As the skin is Aluminium (I hate that American illiteracy, calling it Aluminum!!! ) ,and is not rust prone as steel , possibly it's uncoated metal? Any sound deadening foam or wiring harnesses attached to the inside?
I've consulted Rave and Powerfuluk- and as I understand it, to remove the door trim/ card of the front door, it is necessary to remove 4 screws, one of these being near the door-lock push button.the video shows the guy casually popping out the small cover, but on my model TD6 2002 , this is marked " airbag" . Surely their is no screw hidden here? I take it the airbag alone pops out here when necessary? So only 3 screws hold the door card in the front right door?
Any of you body-shop workers out there, Help please re dent removal techniques, besides resorting to hammer and dolly whacks. Range Rover Vogue TD6 2002

Not sure about the rest of it, but there is a screw behind the little Airbag label thing, which I think you have to remove. Pop the cover off the door card and you'll see it.

On a mates 2003 V8 anyway.

Good luck with the dent stuff.

I used one of those paintless removal people on a door dent to lower third section of my door. Took the guy just over an hr but the result was perfect (I'm a car cleaning fanatic and can't even see a distortion in the pain reflection now). Cost me about £80 from memory.

Thanks guys.My paint is off, but I like the idea of the glue pull avarient of the spot eld rods to pull on Wurth has a glue-pull set I think, but it is bloody expensive. I wonder if a strong epoxy would stand up to a few forceful pulls with a Morgan -knocker type puller? Food for thought and worth trying. I've tried on other vehicles, welded rods, but it's not so easy grinding down the weld flush afterwards.Glue should remove easier, later. Range Rover Vogue TD6 2002

Type "dent repair" into Amazon

They have a few different options ? £8.23 for a glue based kit. ?

Ditto the paintless dent recommendation. They are the true alchemists o the modern age.
