iPad Users - WiFi Connection Help Please

Bloody f****ng thing won't connect to my wifi at home.

It sees the wifi and acknowledges it's there and has clicked on it, but that rotating circle whatsits just churns and churns away with no connection. So I'm permanently on 3G.

I've rebooted 3 times. No luck. I've reset the wifi. Nothing. I've done everything Apple recommend and still nothing. It just churns and churns. I've taken the cover off and moved around the house and no improvement there either.

My wife can connect on her ipad Mini easily. My phone, however, seems to be suffering similar problems.

So, to recap, my wifi likes my wife and it doesn't appear to like me.

Any suggestions as I'm close to throwing the bloody thing in the bin. Sad Si. <This is my name.

Have you tried to connect it through another WiFi network to test if it would connect then...? I recall I had a similar issue a while back and then when I connected to another WiFi, it worked. I disconnected from that network, selected my own WiFi again and it connected without any problems. Mike.

None available from here. I could try on Monday when I get to work as there's free wifi there but I really don't want to wait that long.

Tempted to switch the thing off overnight, reset my router and see what happens in the morning.

It was working fine yesterday and hasn't been touched in between. Si. <This is my name.

That may do the trick... Make sure to first switch off your wireless option on the iPad... Then tonight switch everything off, iPad and Router, and tomorrow morning start up the Router and then the iPad followed by the wireless function on your iPad. We have it sometimes as well that for no reason they don't want to connect and switching everything off normally works. Good luck!! Mike.

You say reboot is that the full reboot on and off button held in at the same time as the home button , and before hand switch off the Wi Fi on your iPad

Where it brings up the list of available wifi connections choose 'Other...'
Then put in the name of your network eg: 'Netgear' or whatever yours is called then it asks for 'Network key' put that in and you should be good to go.
You can find the name of your network usually on the side if your router under 'SSID' and usually the network key will be on there too.
Essentially your adding the settings manually. I had to do this after a firmware revision a few months back.
Had it, loved it!

Settings... Wifi.. Choose a network... Click on the arrow next to your network... Is dhcp highlighted? Does it have an ip address? Previously..
