United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze
Sat nav quesion

Original sat nav but the latest cd for it...

Firstly I can't find a way of programming the destination to a postcode rather than street name. I can't believe that this can't be done.

Secondly when I have arrived at the destination even the day after the sat nav comes on again and starts telling me how to get there. The only way I can see to stop this is to delete the destination although I'm sure you don't have to do that.

Strange the sat nav menu displays either postcode or if you want to input the street , plus when you have arrived at your destination it should automatically stop , failing that you can press the button on the bottom right I think it is to cancel guidance

No postcode function on original ('02 >) SatNav (was it promised with latest CD ? Maybe you need to go into the secret menus to adjust settings? - see WIKI)

Normal function is to stop giving directions once destination reached ("You have arrived, the destination is on your left/right") .

As far as I am aware the Mark 3 satnav doesn't have the postcode function.
Town / city, street and house number only.
