I purchased a 2012 Vogue SE and I asked my local LR dealer to supply and fit the AB design pack front grill (not the front bumper) to the car. It's the cheese grater one. My problem is as I picked the car up I noticed that the black surround to the grill had a flat or Matt finish. I have looked at other vehicles and they are all high gloss paint finish. I gave it back to the dealer but they have just called me to say that is how it is and if I want a gloss finish I have to pay to have it painted??!!## Can anybody give any help, part no etc would be greatly appreciated.

I think they come unpainted but they really should have told you this at the time ...

It sounds like the dealer was too lazy to paint it for you which is something you would expect of a dealer trying to squeeze every pound of profit they can

Where in ches are you as i can point you in the direction of a good bodyshop to spray it up if needed? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

The grille isn't finished in primer only is it?

Ask the grille specialists, Dan (Duckworth) and Mick (Joker).

Sounds to me like they ordered the unpainted/primered version that then needs to get the car colour. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
