That's a bold step. Land Rover risk flushing their unique selling point as a 4x4 only maker and the image of the Range Rover down the toilet. Addmittedly they already downgraded the Range Rover name with the 'sport', which is pretty much a Discovery in a dress for people that can't afford a real Range Rover, but this will just make Range Rovers 'common'. No thanks from a Land Rover owner and enthusiast.

Couldn't agree more, some of these Range Rover Sport oiks don't even have their own yachts, don't you know!

Any name with Range Rover in it will associate it to the FFRR.

When I bought my Vogue I realised how many people say they drive a 'Range Rover' and then it turns out to be a sport. They want the brand image, but at a cheaper price.

Kind of like buying a second hand FFRR Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle Whistle

There was nothing cheap about my £55k RR sport. In fact, it was considerably more than the majority of the FFRR, especially the "poor mans" engine choice

Quiet over here, must all be at the stealers fixing those 2003 FFRRs.

Don't spend too much, they are only worth 15k, easier to junk it and buy another one.

What's a Vogue and where can I get one? Will it pull my yacht? Scumbag 2009 RRS TDV6 Buckingham Blue with Almond Unmodded as LR intended

It wasn't his fault - us State comprehensive-educated lowly RRS class look up to you FFRR owning types for guidance and you confuse our simple minds when your own people write ' Vogue " in their posts. Standards are obviously slipping at Eton these days.

I am envious of the FFRR brigade - I love cords and cravates, brogues and cigars....

It's such a shame you poncy ******ers can't have a nice thought about RRS owners....without the RRS, LR would be in the toliet, sorry to lower the tone, but we have all paid 50K plus for our cars - and you think by buying a crappy 15K car, that makes you better than us? Nothing makes you better than anyone else....

Being a defector from the RRS side, and having owned a couple of each I feel qualified to say: You peasants go back to your own forum! Laughing

This week I will be mostly full fat Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Seriously though, the full fat, pound for pound, kicks the RRS' arse in many ways. Not least of all comfort and equipment. The RRS has a different 'image' and is more likely to be a younger, more 'hot blooded' owner. Hence all the flack!
