I have had my car 2 years. In that time I have enjoyed the drive but at last service it was pointed out that I need 4 bushes replaced.Anyway had them replaced today and car now drives like new its smoother feels more refined . Can't believe that I didn't really notice I needed them changed. On recollection my steering wheel pulled slightly to the left and recently I had the old pram squeak. Feck Joe they didn't specify on invoice.

It just said suspension arm x two and two x upper bushes I think the second 2 relate to the stabiliser type rod that prevents axle from over articulation as they were both shot. The others i think are the lower arm and ball joints. Hope that makes sense you can't help loving a fresh bit of bush  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

How many miles had the car done?

I had a VHC done at my Dealer not long ago, at about 93,000 miles, and they said all the bushes were fine! Discovery 4 HSE

On 71k Adam seriously worth getting second opinion. The guys who serviced my car at 50k said rears had slight play only. Most recent guy said rears were absolutely fine go figure. .. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

My independent reckons the rear bushes are slightly worn - advisory on MOT. Sounds like it might be worth getting them done although its fairly expensive I think -don't know why but I had 400/side in my head. Geoff

My fronts were 300 euro including labour. That sounds expensive. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
