While my car was at the main dealer for a suspension issue, they pulled out a page that mentioned among other features that the car qualifies for the famous P041 - Front differential to propeller shaft spline wear recall.
The problem is that in the lower part of the page there was a mention “warranty hold - engine tuning”. It seems that the previous owner did a tuning that I didn’t know about. Anyway the dealer says that they can’t perform the repair as the car’s warranty was compromised by the tuning. I argued that this is an important safety issue with no connection to the warranty that expired anyway, but they maintain their position. As this is the importer, my only solution is to bring this matter to Land Rover but I can’t find a way to contact them. On the site when I select my country they are sending me back to the importer.
