Polyurethane bushes?

Hi guys,

I'm just scouting the net and came across a full set of poly bushes for a FFRR.
Has anyone fitted these to their car?

I think that £250+ for a set of bushes is a lot, so I might just replace these one at a time, when the originals fail. Bushy

There is another post on here about poly bushes. It may have been from AllSeeingPie but not sure.

It may not be best to change from original to poly is one thought and since we're not talking about an off-road racer (are we ???) what would the use be. You may lose some of the comfort as well. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Couldn't agree more, just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these already.
No I wouldn't be using mine for any serious off road action. Wink Bushy

I used them on a 300 TDi Disco and they were great.
Easy to fit (you don't need a press) and no noticeable change to the ride.
Mind you I did use Polybush Blue's (Comfort) and not the red ones so I'd like to know how hard the "Dynamic" bushes are for the FFRR before buying any?

IMHO (having just changed all the bushes at the rear) unless you KNOW you have a problem with the inner bushes for upper and lower arms at the REAR I advise to leave 'em alone (unless like me, you are a bit mental/OCD).

All my inner ones were solid and didn't really need changing(some looked a bit decrepid but were fine)

I note the kit doesn't supply the outer bushes that go on the hub, which are the ones that DO wear!

Also, if you plan to go ahead, you will want to also buy one of these:

unless you have access to one. You WILL need a press to get them out. Smile .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
