If a single sensor fails, the whole system won't work. Makes sense of course but is also annoying

Cheers - hopefully will fix it - there was a receipt for a new control unit in the file I got with the car and its only about 8 months ago so hopefully this is an easy fix. |

yep - get a continuous tone and light flashing at the dash switch when I go into reverse. |

Well with the new module already fitted, I would guess the sensors are the most likely culprit, however if you replace them and still get this continuous tone, like me , try replacing the rear parking sensor loom located in the bumper. This is a apparent very common fault that our cars suffer with. The wires corrode as they contact the sensor and over time they fail completely. Bushy

cheers for that - will give the sensors a try first and see where it takes me - had hoped to do the digi Tv upgrade but can see that having to wait another month at this rate.......... |

I replaced two sensors (the Faultmate told me which ones failed) and it was fine after that MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
