Just try that offer here in Canada! Land Rover generously imported a grand total of 25 Defender 110s here. Defenders command crazy prices. From an investment point of view, anyone with an older BMW powered L322 would jump at the chance to swap you!

I wanted a cheap off roader, and had to settle for a Disco instead. Now I have to suffer from heating and AC that work, a car that can drive at motorway speeds, and being able to hear my passengers when driving over 10 kph. (JOKE: Really, I love the Defenders. I'm just slightly jealous. )

Only problem is at 6'4" i find 90/110's so uncomfy to drive. I have tried lots over the years but could never have one as my daily ride yet had a 2A but that was only a toy.
Been in brand new one at landrover and a 90 yesterday but 100 yards and I just want to get out did not feel safe legs hit steering wheel when trying to change gear or brake handbrake up trouser leg etc Mine was a blue one!

Could be tempted BC....

Are there any straight panels and gaps on it?
Does it drive like a massey ferguson or a JCB fastrac?

Can it return more than 20mpg?
Does it leak in the rain?
Can you hear the radio in it above 30mph?
Doe the heated seats and steering wheel work?

If it's an XS. It'll have heated seats.

The TDcI's are surprisingly refined things in comparison to, say, a Tdi. They're a little more anodyne but feel more sorted than older models.

Still loads of character, though.

It's a county, surprisingly it's very quiet inside when driving and a lot has changed since the td5.
The dash is great and so is the heater,
panel gaps I think the factory tolerance is 15mm

Despite the jokes above, it must be a different world with the new ones. We rarely see anything less than 20 years old and CANNOT register anything under 15 years. And that's usually 20 years of hard off-roading!

I had the FFRR in to my favourite indie a few months ago and one of the apprentices was raving about a German registered NEW Defender that had been in the shop. (German couple driving around the world stopped for some routine maintenance.) He was shocked that the doors on their new Defender could be closed with one hand! He'd serviced a number of Defenders before and had never come across one that could be closed without an almighty two-handed slam.

Yours looks very nice. I'm really curious as to how the new ones drive.

Compared to the v8 RR the defender uses hardly any fuel
Just been out all day and the needle has hardly moved.

My dads old Citroen does this polling thing that a lot of new cars seem to do every 15 mins or less and the rest of the time it works it out by what it thinks it injects...
