Sometimes you have to buck the trend in colours! |

Nice car I suggest you paint the Exhaust Box, Tow Bar & Armature with Black Silk Spray paint. Quick & easy job. |

That is on the list of jobs to do, just need to find a way of getting the ball off as there is no key! |

If you look further under, there should be a bolt - there's a 50cm square armature that looks very much like an American 2" receiver hitch. The whole tow ball assembly should slide out once the bolt is removed. I've never really understood the FFRR system and why that upside down cup thing is there - I have the drop plate tow bar and a locking pin through the armature to remove it quickly - it looks significantly neater when removed..... like this - |

Thank you Alistair. I wonder if there is a way to remove the ball bit without a key? |

Happened to me. The number of the barrel doesn't apparently match up to a key - so your dealer will either have to send for a bunch of keys to try and establish which one it is (£500 deposit for keys I believe) or you can do what I did which is find the local Westfalia dealer who has their own bunch of keys. Try each one in the car park and Hey presto you are sorted. Key was only about £20 once I had found the right one ! 2013 L405 AB 4.4SDV8 Luxor/Ivory, 2007 Vogue TDV8 Epson Green/Sand, 2008 Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue/Sand, 2003 Vogue 4.4 LPG Epsom Green/Sage, 1998 Vogue SE 4.6 LPG Epsom Green/Cream |

There is a way to remove it without the key, I'll PM you but it does render the towbar a bit useless.
